INGREDIENTS:
- 250 g of sugar
- 200 g melted butter
- 6 eggs
- 200 g of flour
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 250 g ground walnut kernels
- Powdered sugar and walnut halves to decorate
PREPARATION:
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
In a bowl, add the sugar and melted butter and beat everything until you get a smooth cream. Add the eggs, one by one, beating constantly.
Add the flour, yeast and mix everything together. Finally, add the ground walnut kernels and mix well.
Pour the dough into a mold measuring approximately 20 cm in diameter, greased with butter and sprinkled with flour, and bake for 45 to 50 minutes.
Once cooked, remove from the oven, let it cool slightly and remove from the mold.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar, decorate with walnut halves and serve immediately.
