Chicken Gizzards (Moelas Guisadas)

  1. Arrange the gizzards, removing all the fat, and cook them in a pan with water and a little salt for 30 minutes.

  2. Take them out and cut them into pieces, set aside.

  3. Chop the onion and garlic cloves. Sauté them in olive oil, along with the chopped tomato, refresh with the white wine.

  4. Add the gizzards and season with salt and pepper, mix and cook for 5 minutes.

  5. Remove the gizzards from the heat and serve with garlic bread.
