Method

  1. Cut the bacon and turkey steaks into squares, the onion and pineapple into small pieces.

  2. In a frying pan, melt the butter and brown the bacon over medium heat.

  3. Add the turkey and sauté for 5 minutes. Chop the garlic, green peppers and chilli peppers without seeds and tomatoes without skin and seeds.

  4. Pour the chopped meat over the turkey and add the onion and pineapple and cook (5 minutes).

  5. Add the rice (washed and drained) and let it fry for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.

  6. Drizzle with 7 dl of boiling water and cook, stirring.

  7. Add the saffron strands and salt. Cover the pan and cook for 20 minutes over low heat.

  8. When cooked, add the shrimp, cooked and peeled and cook for 5 minutes.

  9. Remove from heat, remove the lid and let it dry (5 minutes).

  10. Fry in butter the 4 pineapple slices.

  11. On a platter, pour the rice and decorate the pineapple slices on top and serve.
