Method

  1. Wash the rice until the water is clear.

  2. Soak the rice in cold water for about 30 minutes and drain.

  3. In a pan with olive oil, braise a chopped onion and a bit of ginger for 3 cm.

  4. Add the spices, cinnamon stick, bay leaf, black pepper, and cumin tea. Let it brown, stirring, for 2 minutes. Add the shelled prawns and the curry spoon and brown for 3 minutes.

  5. Cut the tomatoes into pieces, remove the skin and seeds and add the rice.

  6. Add the condiments and the shrimp.

  7. Drizzle with 7 dl of boiling water and season with salt.

  8. Cover the pan and cook for 15 minutes without stirring and serve.
