  1. In a frying pan, heat olive oil and sauté on medium heat the chicken legs, pork steaks and ham cut into pieces, and the chorizo slices for 10 minutes.

  2. In a large saucepan, pour the sautéed meat and drizzle with 1 dl of broth and cover. Let it stew for 10 minutes.

  3. In a frying pan, saute a chopped onion in heated oil.

  4. Add the chopped garlic, tomatoes, peppers, squid, fresh or frozen peas and a pinch of paprika. Spice with salt and pepper and let it simmer for 15 minutes over low heat.

  5. Heat olive oil and sauté the prawns and the washed mussels until they open. Pour into the pan where the meat and vegetables are and add the rice (washed and drained) and a few strands of saffron.

  6. Add 8 dl of broth and cover. Cook for 25 minutes over low heat and serve.
