  1. Break the bakers yeast into warm milk and add the remaining ingredients, with the exception of candied fruit and nuts. Knead everything very well until the preparation comes off the hands. Cover with a cloth and let stand in a warm place for about 20 minutes.

  2. After that time, wrap the candied fruit and nuts, both chopped, and make a ball. Let it rise for another 20 minutes.

  3. With your thumb, make a hole in the center of the ball and, with the help of both hands, form a crown. Transfer to a tray, previously greased with butter and sprinkled with flour, and let stand until almost twice the size.

  4. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with chopped almond kernels and pine nuts. Decorate with candied fruit and powdered sugar and bake at 190 ° C, between 35 and 40 minutes. Let cool and brush with previously heated quince jam.
