Method

  1. In a bowl, beat the butter with the sugar until creamy. Then add the milk and egg and beat again.

    Tip: It is important that the butter is cold so that the cookies remain in shape after baking.

  2. Add the sifted flour and mix in the dough with surrounding movements, preferably using a spatula. The cookie dough should be very smooth.
    Tip: If you want to use cinnamon in this recipe, add it in this step along with the flour.

  3. Preheat the oven to 200ºC and place the cookie dough in a pastry bag with a smooth spout.

  5. Place small portions of dough on a baking tray with parchment paper, leaving space between them.

  6. Place the tray in the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until you notice that the cookies are turning golden on the sides. Remove and let cool on a grill.

  7. When they cool cat tongue cookies they will be crispy.
